PLEASURE STANDARD REVIEW

Our take, beyond the product listing.

Before & After Spray is a sensible everyday cleaner for washable accessories, especially when a quick surface application is easier than handling a foaming bottle; it cannot replace proper material-specific washing.

Review status: original desk-researched editorial assessment, informed by the linked outside evidence; not independently hands-on tested by Pleasure Standard.

01

Why we like it

The 8.5-ounce spray provides good coverage and includes surfactant and preservative ingredients without triclosan or parabens.

02

How to use it

Check that the toy can be wetted. Spray the cleanable surfaces according to the label, allow the required contact time, then rinse or wipe off completely as directed. Avoid charging ports and seams that are not water-safe.

03

Who it is best for

People maintaining a collection of washable silicone, metal, glass or hard-plastic products who prefer a simple spray format.

04

What to consider

It contains fragrance and benzyl alcohol, which may not suit everyone. Antibacterial marketing does not mean the spray sterilizes an item or makes an unsafe material safe for sharing.

05 / PRO TIPS

Get the most out of it

Follow the actual label's dwell time rather than guessing 'instant' cleaning. For deep ridges, seams or sleeve interiors, use mechanical washing first; dry fully before storage.

HOW TO USE IT

Use, fit & care.

Practical guidance based on available product specifications and category-level considerations. We do not claim firsthand testing unless independently verified.

REAL-WORLD SIGNAL

Toy-cleaner feedback is mostly about convenience and residue: the useful product is the one that is easy to rinse completely without encouraging water into motors or charging ports.

Explore setup, fit & care tips
01

What stands out in use

Fast-acting antibacterial spray toy cleaner for washable toy surfaces, formulated without triclosan or parabens.

02

How to start

Spray the washable body-contact surface according to the bottle directions, allow the cleaner time to act, then wipe/rinse as appropriate for the toy and dry completely before storage or charging.

03

Where it tends to work best

Clean over a sink or wipe-safe surface so liquid cannot pool in charging ports or seams.

04

Depth reality

Not applicable — this is a surface-cleaning product, not an insertable product.

05

Fit reality

The real fit question is contact and control, not insertable girth. Not applicable — fit or insertable girth does not apply to a toy-cleaning spray.

06

How to get more from it

There should be no residual sensation from the cleaner after rinsing; clean and neutral is the goal. Cleaning product only; remove cleaner residue before the toy returns to body contact.

07

What to watch for

The toy manufacturer’s material and water-resistance instructions override generic cleaner directions. Do not soak non-waterproof electronics or spray directly into charging openings.
